Bertazzoni launches mirror-finish ovens first previewed in 2024
Bertazzoni has announced the launch of a range of new mirror-finished built-in ovens. The prominent gold, silver and obsidian appliances, first previewed at EuroCucina 2024, offer a new finish never seen before on ovens. Bertazzoni’s ‘Specchio’ (mirror) finish was developed in collaboration with industrial design studio, MM Design and its creative director, Alex Terzariol.
The striking finish is the result of a process where a thin metallic film is generated through the vaporisation of solid material in a vacuum chamber. This creates a reflective effect in Oro (gold), Bronzo (bronze) and Ossidiana (obsidian) finishes.
The ovens will be available within Bertazzoni’s Modern Series – already obtainable in stainless steel, carbon, zinc and gold finishes, the 3 new mirrored options are available on pyrolytic, total steam and steam-assist models.
Paul Whyte, commercial director at Bertazzoni UK Ltd, said: “Already a firm favourite thanks to its clean lines and minimalist aesthetic, the collection has always been very popular thanks to its unique finishes and this is set to continue even more so thanks to the new mirrored options. Whether a kitchen is open plan or broken plan, these new effects offer the opportunity to make a substantial statement in the home and are a brilliant example in practice of Bertazzoni’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities.”
