Sirius Buying Group strengthens its board of directors
Sirius Buying Group, the buying group of electrical appliances and kitchen retail solutions, has announcement the appointment of 2 additional non-executive directors. Gary Bennetta, director at Appliance World, and Mike Scothern, director at Harry Garlick, joined the board from 1st January 2026.
Steve Jones, MD at Sirius Buying Group, said: “Helping to strengthen internal operations for our members and suppliers, as well as supporting the group’s overall development, Gary and Mike’s new roles on the board are yet another example of Sirius’ progressive approach and focused growth plans. As of 1st January 2026, the board of directors includes Steve Jones, Marion Morton, Mark Veysey, Phil Cox (Empire Appliances), Lyn Knight (Abbey Appliances), and non-executive directors, Gary Bennetta (Appliance World) and Mike Scothern (Harry Garlick).
