Haier officially unveiled the new Horizon Collection at the Royal Observatory Greenwich and Queen’s House, in the heart of London. The Horizon Collection is a refrigeration range that offers a capacity reaching 700 litres, and a freezer drawer expanded by up to +35 litres compared to market standards. The range includes models available up to Energy Class C, all featuring clean lines and harmonious proportions, along with versions that have glass doors and Motion Glow technology.

At the heart of the collection is NutriBank – a proprietary technology that allows meat and fish to be preserved 5 times longer without freezing. Developed over more than 5 years of research, NutriBank is said to 'set a new benchmark in the refrigeration category'. The ecosystem is further enhanced by Active Fresh Zone, maintaining humidity levels of up to 90% to preserve fruit and vegetables for longer; Custom Zones, allowing precise and personalised temperature adjustment; the antibacterial system ABT® Pro, capable of eliminating 99.99% of bacteria and neutralising odours; and advanced internal temperature stability control.

Horizon also introduces one of the largest configurations in its category. The largest freezer drawer, offering up to +35 litres, together with an internal layout in which every element has its dedicated place, transforms capacity into order and efficiency. Adjustable Cantilever Shelves provide flexibility, while the Direct Access Drawers, deliver energy savings of up to 30% during loading and unloading operations.

Horizon's intelligent inventory management includes automatic scanning, food recognition, expiry tracking and recommendations for optimal storage conditions. In models with a Smart Window of up to 27 inches, users can view contents without opening the door, improving awareness and reducing unnecessary openings. The company says by combining advanced temperature stability, intelligent zone control and optimised daily usage, Horizon makes an unavoidable energy demand more efficient and more controlled, contributing to food waste reduction.

“The Horizon Collection represents a decisive step in our evolution within the cooling category. We combine science, proprietary technology and design to create a range capable of addressing people’s real needs: preserving better, organising better and enhancing everyday life in the kitchen. Presenting it in Greenwich symbolically reinforces our commitment to redefining the concept of time applied to freshness,” said Daniele Pugliese, head of cooling, Haier Europe.
