Trade kitchen supplier Howdens has opened a new Expo space in Watford, to show its latest designs across kitchens and bedrooms, doors and more. The new Expo was officially opened in a ribbon-cutting ceremony by local councillor Stephen King.

This site joins its existing Expos in Howden, Yorkshire and Raunds, Northampton, giving more people the opportunity to experience the latest products and styles, from the Classic Timber Kitchens range to the warm minimalism of the new Winterton range. Open to both homeowners and tradespeople, Howdens experts are on hand to discuss the process of designing a dream kitchen and the latest innovation.

The new Expo opening has created 5 local jobs, and showcases over 35 kitchen and fitted bedroom collections, plus joinery, doors, flooring and more, with all kitchen cabinets backed by a 25-year guarantee. Local tradespeople can take advantage of services such as the company’s free home measure and design service, Template and Fit solid surface worktops and Classic Timber Kitchens with 24 Paint to Order colours. Howdens is also the exclusive supplier of brands such as Lamona appliances, Oake & Gray flooring and their latest own brand launch, Fuller & Forge ironmongery.

Austin Cooke MD, trade at Howdens, said: “This is another major milestone for Howdens as we can bring our award-winning designs to life in even more exciting ways. Based in Watford, and servicing London and surrounding areas too, Howdens is creating a destination that’s designed to make choosing your ideal kitchen or bedroom easy and accessible. Our 3 Expos, including this new Watford site and our sites in Yorkshire and Northamptonshire, will support our 890-strong depot network and will help to bring dream kitchens to life for our Trade customers, and their homeowner customers as well!”
