Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW), which is due to take place across EC1, London, from 19th – 21st May, is set to welcome design collections from across Europe as it celebrates its 15th anniversary.

Brands from Spain, Italy, Norway, Germany, Austria and the UK will be taking part in CDW 2026 in what organisers say will be the ‘most wide-ranging showcase of overseas design the festival has ever staged’.

CDW 2026 will see 27 Spanish brands participate, with highlights set to include the transformation of the 16th-century Museum of the Order of St John into El Salón, an immersive installation set within the museum's Chapter Hall. Tile of Spain has commissioned architecture studio LA ERRERÍA to transform the garden of the Order of St. John into The Secret Garden, pictured, an open and welcoming space that aims to encourage visitors to wander, pause and linger.

The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) will introduce around 40 furniture, interior design and surface materials companies to the UK design market with three distinct activations. Visitors will also be able to see: the Norwegian Collection, which will bring together four pioneering brands to present the Norwegian Boutique Bedroom within the Church of Design; the German Collection at Catapult on Sekforde Street, which will focus on practicality and high-spec engineering, and the Austrian Collection, which will celebrate the creative power of craftsmanship at The Crypt in The Order of St John.

Contemporary classics from home-grown brands will be on show at St James’ Church, which has hosted the British Collection at CDW for 10 years, while a variety of showrooms across EC1 will also be opening their doors for product launches, talks and events.
