LEICHT Contracts appoints head of sales to drive top-line growth
LEICHT Contracts, a leader in the design and supply of premium German kitchen furniture for the new build and regeneration construction market, has appointed Steve Northwood, pictured right, as the company’s new head of sales, to identify prime development opportunities and drive top-line growth.
Steve’s appointment will begin on 26th May 2026, and further support the recent management changes at LEICHT Contracts to positively align company sales activity with long-term growth plans, which are specifically driven by increased residential development opportunities and future project wins throughout the UK contract kitchens sector.
Steve has held a series of key senior sales positions within the construction and contract market. With extensive knowledge of the sector, he has over 18 years’ experience working with global manufacturers of residential and commercial building products, and leading suppliers for quality UK developments, all centred around the design and supply of custom fitted furniture in the luxury home.
Steve will also facilitate key operational and strategic support to Matt Goddon, pictured left, who has driven business growth since his appointment to MD of LEICHT Contracts in January 2026.
Matt Goddon said: “The LEICHT brand has gained significant momentum following the release of our new kitchen innovations including a range of brand new finishes, curved panels and exciting new furniture elements to both achieve and be on the cutting edge of design trends through 2026 and 2027. Since my promotion to MD, business confidence is high at LEICHT Contracts, and we want to leverage this momentum with the appointment of a new head of sales to actively lead our UK sales teams, maximise growth, and our commitment to the architectural kitchen; a highly refined furniture concept, which meets the complexity and building standards of the homes of tomorrow.”
