Daphne Doody-Green: Member engagement is at the heart of our InstallerSHOW agenda
InstallerSHOW has become one of the most important fixtures in the bathroom industry calendar, and the Bathroom Association is proud to have supported the show for many years. We have always maintained a strong presence, with our stand at the heart of the bathrooms section, and in 2026, we are preparing another engaging programme for members and the wider industry.
For me, this will be my first InstallerSHOW, and I am genuinely looking forward to experiencing the energy, scale and opportunity it offers. I would also like to thank the show organisers for their continued support in helping shape what promises to be an exciting few days.
For the Bathroom Association, that sense of connection sits firmly at the centre of our focus this year. Our priority is simple and clear: member engagement. Trade shows matter because they bring people together, creating space for honest conversation, fresh thinking and practical collaboration.
That renewed focus on member engagement underpins everything we are doing: listening closely, aligning around shared priorities, delivering relevant support, and making the value of membership more tangible.
InstallerSHOW also provides an important platform for wider industry dialogue and collaboration. I will be speaking at the World Plumbing Conference, contributing to discussions on plumbing as a catalyst for broader industry progress.
Across the 3 days, our Bathroom Theatre programme highlights the breadth of priorities shaping the industry today. Sessions will cover key topics including water efficiency, innovation, digital marketing, international standards, and the future of skills and talent, all areas where collaboration across the sector is increasingly important.
We are bringing together a range of respected voices, from regulators and standards bodies through to industry leaders, alongside practical sessions designed to help businesses navigate change and identify opportunity.
Alongside the formal programme, we are proud to support industry-led initiatives that bring people together in different ways. On Tuesday, 23rd June, we will host a drinks reception in partnership with Bristan and the Construction Inclusion Coalition, welcoming back participants from the Race for Change challenge, an initiative that highlights water scarcity, inclusivity and the importance of creating a more open and accessible industry.
We will also be hosting more informal opportunities to connect, from our Members’ Networking Breakfasts through to the return of the Designers Disco, creating space for conversations that do not always happen in more structured settings.
More than anything, this year is about people.
Our stand, E420, will be a place to connect, whether you are a longstanding member, new to the sector, or simply interested in what the Association is doing next. Throughout the show, we will be sharing more about our direction, our priorities and how we are evolving to better support the industry.
InstallerSHOW gives us a genuine opportunity to bring those conversations to life.
If you are attending, please do come and find us, whether to join a session, meet the team, or simply have a conversation. We would really value the opportunity to hear from you.
