As homeowners increasingly seek appliances built to stand the test of time, AGA has launched its trade-in programme, which it says 'reflects a continued commitment to evolving with modern lifestyles while preserving the qualities that have made the AGA one of the world's most recognised and admired range cookers'.

The trade-in programme enables customers to receive 10% off a new cast-iron AGA cooker when trading in their current cast-iron AGA cooker, or 5% off when trading in any range cooker. The initiative supports both longstanding AGA owners and inheritors looking to upgrade to new models and homeowners making the move to an AGA for the first time.

For those replacing an older cast-iron AGA cooker, the trade-in programme offers a seamless transition to the latest generation of AGA cooking. Today's all-electric AGA cookers have evolved to meet the needs of modern living, with independently controlled ovens and hotplates providing greater flexibility over how and when heat is used. While innovation has enhanced day-to-day usability, the companys says 'the qualities that have defined an AGA for more than a century remain unchanged' – 'the radiant heat, enduring warmth and unmistakable character'.

The programme also reflects the commitment to responsible manufacturing. Each cast-iron AGA cooker traded in through the programme is dismantled, with materials recovered and recycled wherever possible. As a material that can be reused time and again without compromising its integrity, cast iron is given a new lease of life. Reinforcing a commitment to longevity, every new cast-iron AGA cooker is backed by a 5-year parts warranty, providing customers with additional reassurance.

Sam Rogers, vice president – luxury sales at AGA, said: "An AGA has always been built to last, becoming part of family life for generations. Our trade-in programme supports customers looking to upgrade to the latest generation of cast-iron cooking while preserving everything they know and love about AGA. By combining modern innovation with timeless craftsmanship, alongside a 5-year parts warranty and a responsible approach to recycling, we're ensuring every new AGA continues that legacy for years to come."
