Wren returns to the small screen as it supports DIY SOS team across 6 builds

Wren has been back on TV screens this month after taking part in the BBC’s home renovation series, DIY SOS, for a second time.

Across six new episodes, the DIY SOS team have once again brought volunteers, local tradespeople and businesses together to create life-changing spaces for people and communities who need them most. Wren donated and installed fully equipped kitchens, complete with worktops, appliances and utilities, alongside beautifully designed bedrooms to help make each transformed property truly feel like home.

Colleagues from across the business rolled up their sleeves and joined the builds in person, working shoulder to shoulder with the DIY SOS crew, local tradespeople, other professionals and community volunteers to help get each project over the line.

Wren fitter Darren Lewis, who worked on the series, said: “I’ve watched the programme so many times over the years, so it was a real privilege to actually be part of it. What struck me was the sheer scale of the team effort, the number of volunteers and businesses giving their time and donating everything needed to get these projects finished. It was a genuinely rewarding experience, and hugely emotional too. Seeing the gratitude on the families’ faces and realising the difference all of our contributions can make, that’s what made every hour of it so worthwhile.”

Speaking about Wren’s involvement, Raf Klimek, chief operating officer, said: “It was a privilege to work with the DIY SOS team for a second time. These builds are a real team effort, with everyone involved contributing their time, skills and expertise. Wren was proud to provide fully equipped kitchens and bedrooms, along with colleagues on the ground supporting the work on site.
