Smeg widens Portofino portfolio with new double-cavity range cooker

Smeg has revealed the latest addition to its Portofino collection, which was first launched in 2017 – a new 90cm double-cavity range cooker. Said to be inspired by the Italian passion for creating good food, the new Portofino is designed for larger households, or those who enjoy cooking multiple dishes and more complex recipes. 

Sitting alongside the 90cm single-cavity and 120cm double-cavity Portofino, the CPF92 offers a blend of both; two separate multifunction ovens in a more compact 90cm size. The range is available in four finishes; a textured anthracite, enamelled black and white, as well as an industrial stainless steel finish, which is intended to appeal to those with both traditional-style kitchens and more modern spaces. 

The new cooker is available in both gas (dual fuel) and induction (all electric) formats. The gas version offers six burners with cast iron supports, while the induction model offers five-zones with 'multizone' technology.

The new range cooker features soft-close doors, and a DigiScreen touch display with timer and clock. A drawer underneath the ovens provides storage for cookery utensils.
