Swiss appliances manufacturer V-Zug has unveiled its new Excellence Line – a collection of ovens and steam cookers that it describes as 'revolutionary', and offering 'puristic design and interactive operation'.
The models all feature mirror-glass fronts that are intended to help them blend into their kitchen surroundings, no matter what the design aesthetic may be. They are operated via a CircleSlider in the centre of the TouchDisplay, and the appliances feature what is described as the 'first ever automatic door closer' – AutoDoor – which means that handles can be completely dispensed with to create handle-free kitchens.
Excellence Line appliances come in Black and Platinum, with Pearl exclusively for the project market. Standardised external panels across product ranges and appropriate design modifications mean that ovens, steam cookers, coffee centres and wine coolers can be combined with each other as required.

The new models are available to UK retailers from today.
