Shower tray manufacturer JT has announced the introduction of its latest innovation: 25% lighter shower trays. From this month, JT has committed to making all of its stone resin shower trays 25% lighter in weight, in a move that it says promises to place less stress on both the environment and customers. The weight reduction comes from a new blend of natural filler for the trays – an innovation that the JT team has been working on in conjunction with their suppliers to achieve.
Designed with ease of use in mind, JT’s 25% lighter trays are said to be more ergonomic and easier to install, and come with a 25-year guarantee.

Our 25% lighter trays mark a real turning point for JT, and hopefully the industry too, and we can’t wait for our customers to get hold of them.”
Last year, JT extended its shower tray offering with the new Naturals range, which responded to the bathroom trend for natural textures and colour schemes. The stone effect range features four contemporary colourways: Flamborough White, Malham Grey, Runswick Cream and Howarth Black, inspired by Yorkshire’s quintessential landscapes and tones.
