Omega adds custom-cut panel service in response to customer feedback

Furniture supplier to independent kitchen retailers Omega PLC is further enhancing its offer with the launch of a custom-cut panel service for both painted and non-painted ranges. The company says its continued investment in its new product is based on ongoing trend and market research, technical expertise, and continued customer feedback initiatives, and that it places the understanding of its customer needs at the fore of new product introductions.

An impactful design element, the introduction of bespoke size panels will further enhance the aesthetics of Omega kitchens and give customers greater flexibility in design and depth of detail to meet customers’ needs, whilst reducing costs, allowing them to order the specific panel requirement to suit.

Strategic investment into Omega’s production facility has created the manufacturing capability to offer factory-finished cut-to-size panels of exceptional quality, supplied on industry-leading turnaround time. Customer efficiency is enhanced by reducing on-site installation time and site waste, saving costs, and supporting Omega’s ongoing sustainable initiatives aligned to its UN Goals.

James Bishton, retail sales director, said: "Our continual product development launches are strongly influenced by customer feedback that we actively seek.  Recently, cut and edged panels in custom sizes became a common request to further help our partners win projects from a design and installation perspective.  We are excited to add this bespoke service to our offer and exceed customer expectations by including our painted ranges all without impact to our standard lead times. This solution provides unparalleled design customisation options to enhance the overall aesthetic of the kitchen whilst also streamlining the installation process for our customers."

Custom-cut panels have the potential to transform kitchen projects and will be available to order from the 30th of October in an extensive range of finishes across the Novus, Mackintosh, and Sheraton brands and will be available on all leading CAD design software providers. In 2024 Omega will introduce the new custom panel service into its ready-to-assemble brands, English Rose, and Chippendale.
