Duravit has introduced Sivida by Starck, a contemporary range of mineral cast washbasins and bathroom furniture designed by Philippe Starck at ‘an attractive price point’.
Sivida is made using DuroCast®, a durable, easy-to-clean mineral cast material that has a velvety look and feel, which Duravit says makes it suitable for residential and commercial projects. The furniture is available in six finishes of: White Matt, Graphite Matt, Marbled Oak, Natural Walnut, Pale Green Matt and White High Gloss and the basin in colours including White Satin Matt, Matt Dark Green and Matt Pale Green.
Metal elements such as a handle, towel holder, or furniture feet, are optional and come in Chrome or Diamond Black. A matching mirror with candle-like lights arranged on the side and optional practical shelf are also available.
Designer Philippe Starck said: “Sivida is unique. It is a very essential design but with a colourful twist of life. Pale green, white and dark grey, available to create duo combinations that fit all environments. Elegant, joyful and functional, Sivida is the new collection for our everyday life.”
