Matt Western, the Member of Parliament for Warwick and Leamington, paid a return visit to British range cooker manufacturer Rangemaster on Monday 29th April.
Western, who last visited the Leamington Spa site 8 years ago, was given a tour of Rangemaster’s manufacturing facilities, including the training academy, press shop, assembly line and the new paint plant. He also spent time with staff from across the company.
Jason Allaway, Rangemaster’s group manufacturing director, pictured left, said: “We were delighted that Matt took time out of his busy schedule to visit our Leamington Spa factory. We were pleased to show him the latest developments at the site following the recent investment, such as the new production lines and powder paint facility. We were encouraged by Matt’s interest in our level of apprenticeship opportunities and the diverse range of skills required to manufacture our range cookers.”

The factory tour was fascinating and gave a real insight into the level of work and expertise that goes into making one of the most famous Leamington-made products.
