Combined Independents Holdings (CIH), the electrical buying group which is part of Euronics, welcomed guests to its annual Suppliers' Christmas lunch at Claridges where it hosted its Supplier Awards ceremony.
Beko Group scooped both White Goods Supplier of the Year, and Supporter of the Independents, while BSH picked up the Members' Choice Supplier of the Year Award, and Sony was awarded Brown Goods Supplier of the Year.
CIH chairman, Steve Scogings, pictured left, said: "I want to take a moment to thank all our suppliers for your dedication, hard work, and commitment to the success of our group. It has been a fantastic year, and events like this remind us how much we can achieve when we work together. I would like to share a quote that I believe is fitting for all of us: 'The ability of a group of people to do remarkable things hinges on how well those people can pull together as a team.'
"This has never been truer than today. CIH remains committed to working with each of our suppliers in a collaborative and mutually beneficial way. We will continue to evaluate our cost-to-serve and help manage your ongoing costs, striving to minimize them while still achieving the strong margins our members need to sustain their businesses and promote your goods and services.
"A special thank you to all our award winners today – your achievements reflect the effort, passion, and excellence you bring to everything you do. Let us carry this momentum into the coming year and continue to strive for even greater success."
