Irish shower enclosure specialist Merlyn has announced that it has expanded its business into the French market.
To support the launch, Merlyn has partnered with 22 freelance agents, which its says are ‘strategically positioned’ throughout France. The Kilkenny-based brand has also joined forces with logistics experts Sanidis, which will store and distribute products across France from a Paris-based warehouse. This, claims Merlyn, will enable it to deliver orders nationwide within 7 days, with customers closer to Paris receiving 24 hour-delivery.
The expansion is supported by a dedicated Merlyn French speaking team across four specialities. It has also invested in dedicated French brochures, customised point of sale material, a new French website and unique French social media content.
James Cambell, Merlyn’s export manager, said: “With our talented team of agents, efficient logistics, and focused marketing approach, Merlyn is set to become a trusted name in France’s bathroom industry.”
