Harry Kyriacou takes over as CIH CEO as Paul Tyler departs



Combined Independents Holdings (CIH), which is part of Euronics, Europe’s largest electrical buying organisation, has announced the appointment of Harry Kyriacou as the new chief executive officer, following the departure of outgoing CEO Paul Tyler.

Harry Kyriacou is said to bring a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as chief commercial officer at Strix for the past 5 years. His extensive career also includes senior positions with industry leaders such as GDCA, Whirlpool, and Philips Consumer Electronics. The CIH board said it is confident that Kyriacou's leadership and expertise will be instrumental in driving the continued success and growth of the company. 

Paul Tyler joined CIH in January 2022 as CEO. Commenting on the announcement of his departure, CIH chairman, Steve Scogings, said: “In only 3 years, Paul has made a significant difference to the business and has instilled a fantastic team ethic within the staff of CIH. He has overseen a revolution in our website and marketplace offering, created a new team dedicated to supporting members and introduced exciting new partnerships."

Kyriacou's employment will commence on 10th February 2025.
