Häcker owner acquires 49% stake in luxury kitchen brand Eggersmann

Luxury kitchen manufacturer Eggersmann has announced that Finkemeier Holding, the family-owned group that also owns Häcker Küchen, has acquired a 49% shareholding in the company through a capital increase.

The investment marks a strategic milestone for Eggersmann and is intended to provide the financial strength to support the company's long-term growth while preserving its position as one of Germany's leading manufacturers of bespoke luxury kitchens.

The new partnership is designed to accelerate investment in key future areas, including digitalisation, production processes, supply chain resilience and international market development. The transaction has been described as a deliberate entrepreneurial decision that will create a solid platform for the company's continued expansion.

Despite the new investment, Eggersmann will continue to operate independently. The company's existing management structure and premium brand positioning will remain unchanged. As part of the new ownership structure, Leon Wunram, pictured right, joins the management team alongside his father, Eggersmann MD Michael Wunram, left.

Commenting on the partnership, the company said the investment provides "a reliable basis for the further development of eggersmann as a company and for sharpening the brand's positioning in the luxury segment."

Finkemeier Holding brings considerable experience to the partnership through its portfolio of manufacturing businesses, including Häcker Küchen, one of Europe's largest kitchen manufacturers. The investment is intended to combine the resources of a financially strong family-owned industrial group with Eggersmann's expertise in the ultra-premium kitchen market.

Both companies emphasised that the partnership is focused on long-term value creation, with Eggersmann retaining its identity, craftsmanship and commitment to bespoke luxury kitchen design.
