Rotpunkt adds new matt finishes in response to 'soft minimalism' trend

German kitchen furniture manufacturer Rotpunkt has introduced Loft Nature Oak and Snow Class in a new matt finish in response to the rising trend for soft minimalism in 2024-25.

Matt Phillips, head of UK operations at Rotpunkt, said: “Minimalism remains a hugely popular interior style and as we move into next year, we are noting a more delicate presentation of this popular design movement with warmer colours, lighter wood finishes and quality textiles coming to the fore in the kitchen. Key to serving today’s home and lifestyle, kitchen furniture which is robust, visually appealing, and eco-conscious will help to bring a sense of calm into the home while introducing a quality mix of materials that can withstand the demands of everyday life.”

Showing the versality of a one-wall inset furniture scheme, the pictured Zerox kitchen concept includes new Loft Oak doors and panels, available in three finishes to offer varying degrees of natural oak - Loft Nature Oak, Loft Brown Oak and Loft Black Oak. Now available in a new matt acrylic finish, the push-to-open Class cabinets in Snow Class are easy to clean with deep chamfered edges to look and feel like real glass.

All Rotpunkt furniture is designed and created under the brand’s award-winning Together to Zero climate strategy, where the company reduces its carbon emissions at every stage of manufacture. Crafted from Greenline BioBoard Gen2, the featured Zerox furniture by Rotpunkt is the sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional chipboards, and consists of up to 90% recycled wood for the ultimate in green kitchen design.
