Bespoke kitchen maker Martin Moore and boutique interior design duo Studio Vero have joined forces for WOW!house 2024, which is taking place at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, from 4th June - 4th July. Their partnership combines expert furniture making with innovative design to create a unique kitchen that is inviting, elegant and a space that many could envisage in their own homes.
To mark its 50th anniversary, Martin Moore is showcasing the Legacy Collection – a new kitchen design featuring sleek lines and a restrained aesthetic. Crafted from natural oak in a pale washed finish, the simplicity and natural beauty of the cabinetry is the perfect palette for Studio Vero to flex their creative muscles.
“Our new collection was created to celebrate our golden anniversary, and its contemporary, architectural elegance teamed with luxurious materials makes it perfect for today’s open-plan homes. It looks amazing combined with Studio Vero’s distinctive aesthetic,” said Richard Moore, creative director of Martin Moore.
Studio Vero has devised a sophisticated and rich palette of green and burgundy combined with warm tones of natural wood. Luxurious elements, such as striking green granite surfaces and unlacquered, bright brass taps from Waterworks, are complemented by richly coloured handmade tiles on the sides of the central island, a flame stitch George Spencer Designs fabric on Rachel Donath ironwork stools and antiqued brass mesh-fronted cabinets.
Incorporated into the design is a wine station and a hidden bar. An ever-popular kitchen addition, it features innovative lighting, pocket doors and granite shelves adding a layer of luxurious glamour to the kitchen.
Combined with state-of-the-art Gaggenau appliances and modern kitchen essentials, this retro style has been reimagined and elevated for contemporary living. A standout feature is a striking tiled island, which brings a touch of glamour and playfulness to the room. Inspired by the opulent designs of European café bars, the island is a centrepiece, providing a stylish area for socialising, drinking and eating.
